Some tests of Demon Homepages SSI.

Notes :
Naturally, only works when using the server.
Extension is shtml, therefore ignored by some of my local test tools.

Using HTML

Using default settings for the server supplying this page :-
 Server GMT           = (S1) Monday, 08-Mar-10 00:22:47 GMT
 Server LOCAL         = (S2) Monday, 08-Mar-10 00:22:47 GMT
 Server LAST_MODIFIED = (S3) Sunday, 13-Apr-08 17:32:41 GMT

Using JavaScript

NOTE that, when viewed from the server, SSI will already have been executed in the source and therefore in the code shown in the boxes,

Using default settings for the server supplying this page :-

The default date string sent is not necessarily compatible with JavaScript new Date(), or even unambiguous.

With that setting :-
