I-Chen Lin participated in National Chiao Tung University in February 2005. He is now a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Institute of Multimedia Engineering, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and also serves as the director of Degree Program of Cyber Security Management, College of Computer Science. From August 2015 to July 2017, he served as the director of Industry Cooperation Division, Office of International Affairs. From August 2017 to July 2018, he was a visiting scholar in Dept. of Computer Science, University of California, Davis, US.
I-Chen Lin received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from National Taiwan University in 1998 and 2003, respectively. His Ph.D. thesis focused on 3D facial motion tracking and facial animation. He established and leads the Computer Animation and Interactive Graphics Lab (CAIG Lab), NYCU. Prof. Lin's research interests include computer graphics, computer vision, interactive and multimedia techniques, virtual and augmented reality. He is a member of ACM, ACM SIGGRAPH, and IEEE.
