Introduction ---

India is one of the oldest world civilizations. We have expected to visit it, especially its UNESCO world heritage Taj Mahal, for a long time. Now the dream has come true.

India possesses the largest number of UNESCO heritages. In our trip, we visited three of them, including Agra Fort and the City of Victory (Fatehpur Sikri) in addition to Taj Mahal.

In the 7-day trip, we can only visit a small part of India, the so-called Golden Triangle, consisting of the cities of Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. A large portion of our time was spent in long-way drives on countryside roads and in city traffic jams. We had no time to visit Ganes River and some other interesting historical sites and relics, like the famous sex temples in Khajuraho. We expect a second visit in the future, maybe.

Our curiosity about India, like poor people, polluted environment, the Caste system, etc., is also satisfied. After seeing many cultural facts, I conclude that India is an old but friendly and respectable country with happy people due to religious reasons!
