Introduction ---

Australia is really a big country which we cannot ignore in looking at the world map! She is a single country on a continent. She is close to Taiwan in the south hemisphere. We have been thinking about visiting Australia for many years, and the wish was not realized until this trip.

Australia is also a so-called people melting stove, just like the USA. The country is so big and the population is so small that people can enjoy the ease of living space. This is what we Taiwanese, who live in a crowded small island, cannot imagine.

It is interesting to see the unique animals of Australia like koalas, kangaroos, wombats, etc., and the famous plants of eucalypt trees. We also have visited three of the five largest cities in Australia, namely, Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. We really enjoyed seeing the major sightseeing spots, the unique animals, and the culture of the country in our 8-day trip!
