Short Biography:
 
 

You-Chiun Wang received the B.S. degree in computer science from National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan, in 2001, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, in 2003 and 2006, respectively. From 2007 to 2011, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Department of Computer Science, National Chiao Tung University. In 2011, he joined the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan, where he was promoted to full professor in 2019 and served as the department chair from 2022 to 2025. His research interests include wireless and mobile networks, the Internet of Things, and network softwarization. Dr. Wang has published more than 120 papers and book chapters. According to Google Scholar, his publications have received more than 3,900 citations, and his h-index is more than 30.

Dr. Wang has served as a Guest Editor for The Computer Journal and an Editor for ICT Express. He has also served as the Poster Chair of APNOMS 2021, TPC Chair of APNOMS 2022, Vice Chair of APNOMS 2023, Vice Chair of IEEE/IFIP NOMS 2024, and General Chair of APNOMS 2025. In addition, he has served as a TPC member for more than 300 computer and communication conferences, including IEEE INFOCOM, ICDCS, and WCNC. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a member of ACM, IET, and IEICE. He was recognized by Stanford University as one of the world's top 2% of scientists.
