Course Objective
This course adopts a bottom-up approach, progressing from lower-layer network technologies to upper-layer applications, with the goal of helping undergraduate students develop a solid understanding of the techniques and applications of wireless networks. Topics covered in this course include signals, spectrum, and modulation; multiple access techniques; communication protocols; ad hoc routing; Mobile IP; wireless applications; network function virtualization (NFV); and wireless security. Students are required to read research papers related to wireless networks and deliver oral presentations to enhance their ability to analyze technical literature and communicate research ideas effectively.
