Course Objective
This
course helps graduate students learn the fundamental knowledge and research issues
of wireless ad hoc and sensor networks. The course topics will cover wireless
communications & networks, wireless ad hoc networks, IEEE 802.11
standard & security, VANETs, wireless sensor networks, Bluetooth, ZigBee, and RFID systems. Students
will be asked to read academic papers related to wireless ad hoc &
sensor networks
and give oral presentations in class.
