General Information

Course description:

Study the design, implementation, and performance of computer networks. Topics include: medium access control, Internet protocols, local and wide area networks, congestion and error control, switching and routing, network applications, etc.

In this course, you will:

1.     Learn what computer networks are

2.     Learn how they work today

3.     Learn why they are designed the way they are

4.    Learn how they are likely to evolve in the future

 

Course Policy:

 

If a student cheats either in the mid-term exam or final exam, his (her) whole semester grade will be set to 0.

Prerequisite:

1.     “Introduction to Computer Science”

Lectures:

The course will be held physically on Tuesdays from 1:20 pm to 3:10 pm in EDB27 room. The third hour of a week will be given as off-line course material.
