| This course is to introduce how to design network protocols customized for multimedia content, including images, video, voice and social media. The course will be partitioned into two parts. First, we will cover the principles of digital image/video standards and their delivery over wired or wireless networks. Second, we will introduce online social networks (such as Facebook and Twitter), which inter-connect people and disseminate information on the Internet. |
