Finger Run

A pad game built by a prototyping tool, Axure, in order to teach designers to use this tool and… have fun.

2016 experiment.

Finger Run is a pad game. It is inspired by how do people race in the real world, but using fingers to run rather than legs this time. I designed this game when I was teaching a prototyping tool, Axure, to frog designers. If I can demonstrate a game- the most customized application- by Axure, then we can consider it as a powerful tool for complex system. And surprisedly it works!

Game rules

Each player has his/her own track, and use fingers to scroll on it just like running on the track. There is no count down, no fancy weapons nor badges. There are only 2 simple rules:

1. Run to the end - and you win

2. Don’t step into water - or you lose

What would happen if the player:

A. Step on a frog -

frog will become a weapon that annoy the opponent!

B. Step on the shit -

nothing bad but make the feet dirty...
